Fishy Business Silks
This is a wonderful trick, which teaches as it entertains. You can use it just as easily in a school as in a party at home. It teaches children a vital lesson that STRANGERS CAN BE DANGEROUS! However, you can use it as pure entertainment as the storyline is very strong. It’s the story of a little fish who doesn’t listen to what he’s told. He wanders off with a smiling stranger (the shark) and has to be rescued by Olly the Octopus, who sorts out the shark at the same time. All ends happily, and he grows into a large and beautiful fish. Crammed with potential.
You are supplied with 5 silks: a 12” fish, an 18” shark, an 18” octopus, an 18” sad shark, and a stunning 36” underwater scene.
Quotes:
“Jeremy, I have to tell you that the trick with the fish is a great one. It fits perfectly to my Dr. Seuss act and it goes over extremely well. I just did a show this morning and the little Godzillas were staring at me in silence when I was telling the story of the fish…and, of course, the teachers are grateful for the ‘avoid strangers’ lesson. I use a Square Circle Box to switch the silks, but especially because it gives the opportunity to produce a bowl with a fish (a fake one) at the end with a big reaction. Thanks for this routine my friend. Ciao.” Aldo Colombini.
